Does resetting an iPhone delete iCloud data?
Resetting your iPhone to factory settings does not delete any data stored in iCloud. It only erases content and settings from the local device itself to prepare it for a new user. Once you sign back into your Apple ID on a new or existing device, your synced photos, contacts, and notes will reappear instantly.
- iCloud data exists independently of the device.
- Local backups will be erased if not synced.
- Photos in 'Recently Deleted' are not affected.
